Preparing for Otakon - Oscar Wilde cosplay

Hey kids, I'm free at the moment so I figured I'd put in a journal update before Otakon.
From July 17th - 19th, I'll be in Baltimore, Maryland in the Baltimore Convention Center along with thousands of others for Otakon! It's a wonderful anime convention, biggest one on the east coast in fact, and I'll be running around, buying things, catching up with others, and generally having a blast! I'll also be running a table in Artist's Alley along with :iconmeibiseiya:, :icontriumph-forks:, and :iconsieth:.

:icontriumph-forks: will be selling prints and adorable chibi charms :)
:iconsieth: will be selling plushies

and I will be selling my History 101 sprites as stickers as well as prints :)

And since this is an anime convention, I'll also be cosplaying! I haven't decided which costume goes on what day yet, but I plan on cosplaying as Anju (the chicken lady) from Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time, Detective Dick Gumshoe from Phoenix Wright series and as OSCAR WILDE :heart:

I have the purple jacket, green vest, black cravat, white Victorian dress shirt, cane, white gloves, khaki pants, and a lovely light green carnation :) I'm getting my hair cut this weekend (its in a ponytail now) so I'll have pictures up really soon! I have already warned ahead of time that I'm planning to crash the Doctor Who photoshoot too >:3 So if anyone is going to Otakon, find me, I'd love to get some pictures. Why Oscar Wilde at an anime convention you ask? Here's the thing about Otakon, you can come dressed up as ANYTHING...really...anything you can think of. Christmas tree? DO EET. Toan from Dark Cloud? DO EET. An emoticon? DO EET. Anything goes. So wish me luck and I hope to see you there! ^^
